APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE
Although not all members were present only the following apologies were sent
Mr William Paterson

TREASURERS REPORT
Funds are healthy- and a small profit was made on the 2004 show this  was credited to the judge’s not taking any fees.

The members were informed of the current funds in the clubs account

SECRETARIES REPORT
This is the first year that East Fife has been re-classed as a Regional Show it appears that the change of status has not effected the show entries which is very pleasing for all concerned with the club.

The show entries increased by 13 this year, this shows that the Regional status has not deterred the members from entering the show.

WEBSITE
The website has attracted quite a few visitors.
We also attracted a couple of new members and some advertising interest so hopefully we can use this to our advantage.

It was suggested that perhaps offering a couple of companies free advertising on the site may help attract further interest

A couple of Breed Clubs are very keen to have their link added to our website this is a very good way for East Fife to gain more exposure by asking the Breed Clubs to reciprocate the gesture.

SHOW SCHEDULES
F B Innovations produced the current show schedules and catalogues.
The members were asked if they were satisfied with everything that was supplied
No changes were proposed by all present and F B Innovations are to continue to produce the catalogues and show documents.

JUDGES
It was suggested that Brian should try and get judges from a similar area as last year’s judges.
NEXT SHOW
The next show will be on the 6th February 2005 and be held in the Victoria hall at Coaltown of Balgonie
REFRESHMENTS
Elaine Reekie will continue to supply the food for the judges and snacks and refreshments will be available for the members
FEES
Fees have been frozen for another year and will be reviewed at the next Annual General Meeting

Barnavelder Bantam Female
Croadlangshan Any Colour Male
Croadlangshan Any Colour Female
And for the following two classes to be split into one for male and one female

13.        ANY OTHER COMPETENT BUSINESS

It was raised that there are still many of the show cups missing which we still need to trace.
it was discussed & agreed that we will record the cups we currently have and the winners will be asked to sign for the cup when they are presented with it and informed that if they damage the trophy they will be responsible for the repair as the club has had two repairs in the last two years.
the members signing for the cups will help us keep track of who and where the cup should be and hopefully encourage the winner to take responsibility and care of the trophy.
Show insurance was another topic that has been raised as per the article in the Poultry Club newsletter Winter 2003/2004.
It has been highlighted that there is an urgent need to get the show covered for public liability and employees liability cover as we are an open show and anyone can enter the show from the public and if any injuries were to occur to anyone attending or helping with the show the club would be totally liable for any damages.
The next point raised was about why the names and addresses of exhibitors are not printed in the back of the catalogue.

Brian Stanley responded by telling the members that this was stopped because of people having unwanted or uninvited people turning up at their homes and also to prevent the threat of theft of poultry from their land.

The decision was made that we will add a section on the entry form asking people if they want their name and address to be printed on the catalogue so then if any problems occur the club will not be to blame.

The last point raised at the meeting was in regards to the rosettes a couple of exhibitors queried that there was a couple of classes that should have a rosette currently dont this has been passed to the secretary to investigate.
