The Club Bank records were circulated so that members could see the level of funds held.

The motion was seconded by B Stanley

WEBSITE

All members in attendance were shown the website.

Members present were asked if there was any amendments or additions they would make to the web.

There were no suggestions

Bill suggested that if taking pictures was a problem we should ask permission to use the pictures from the standard book.

J Webster noted interest for the Scottish Game Club.  B Stanley offered to price website space for the club.

B Stanley mentioned that a paper copy of the web will perhaps be available for those who do not have access to the internet in the future.

SHOW SCHEDULES & CATALOGUES

B Stanley proposed that the club consider letting himself & F Ross produce both the booklets for East Fife and Leslie Ornithological to reduce costs for both clubs.

Samples of the booklets that could be produced were circulated

Concerns were noted as to how much commitment this task would take and if approval should be given.

It was pointed out that the expenditure that both clubs make on schedules is quite high and due to demand on the printer the delivery of the schedules often causes a rush in circulating to members in time for entrants to be made.

J Webster noted interest for the Scottish Game Club.

Bill Paterson proposed a letter be sent to the printer explaining that the clubs had decided to produce the booklets themselves due to cost and thanking them for their past service.

NEXT SHOW

Judges

On discussing which judges could be asked to officiate at the show it was decided that Brian should select judges from the Poultry Show Book who agree to attend.  The decision was made due to the requirements in the standards which apply to us because we are a championship show.

            Fees

It was discussed & agreed that there should be increases in entrance & membership fees.

            Entries                          Increase by 10p

            Egg Entries                   Increase by 10p

            Adult Membership          Increase by 50p

            Junior Membership         No Increase

It was decided that Junior Membership should not be increase to encourage entrants and members.

            Rolls/Refreshments

It was suggested that we consider doing the catering for the show ourselves to raise more money to cover the costs of the show and judges.

J Webster believes that there is no money to be made in doing the rolls ourselves and that we should continue as we are.

All members agreed that they were very happy with the catering.

            Date of the Next Show

It was agreed that the club set the date of the show as per the annual reservation they have with the show venue – the first Sunday in February.
